3.1 Release notes
Below is an overview of changed and new features introduced in this release of the FourVision Document Management Web App

Detailed release information:
New Feature 1 - Add DocuSign functionality
DocuSign functionality has now been added to the Document Management Web App
DocuSign Setup
To enable DocuSign, navigate to Admin > General > Parameters > Features and enable DocuSign
DocuSign settings can then be added by navigating to Admin > General > Connection profiles and then clicking Grant DocuSign consent
Once DocuSign handshaking is complete, the functionality is ready to use
To enable DocuSign, create a new Category by navigating to Admin > Categories
Edit the new Category, enable Workflow can not change and DocuSign, then choose an option for Signed by and Workflow status
Assign the new Category to a Category group in Admin > Category groups
Assign the Category group to the desired Role in Admin > Authorization > Roles
DocuSign Usage - Applicant
To create a Document for an Applicant, create the Applicant by navigating to Manager > Recruitment > Applicants
In the Applicants screen, select the desired Applicant and click Documents
Click +New then Upload document
Create a Word document to upload, to ensure the Document can be signed, the bookmark Esigned must be added to the Document
Once uploaded submit the Document to Workflow
When the Document reaches the defined Workflow status the option for Applicant signature will be available
When clicked, the Applicant will receive an email requesting their signature
The signing status can also be checked by clicking Get signing status
The Applicant can now sign the document
Once signed Get signing status will give an updated result
The Document will be converted to a .PDF and the signed Document can be viewed
The Document can now go through any subsequent Workflow statuses and then be approved
DocuSign Usage - Employee
As a Manager, navigate to Manager > Organisational data > My team workers (Or All workers if applicable) and select the desired Worker
Click +New then Upload document
Create a Word document to upload, to ensure the Document can be signed, the bookmark Esigned must be added to the Document
Once uploaded submit the Document to Workflow
When the Document reaches the defined Workflow status the option to Sign the document will display
The Worker defined in the Workflow can now sign the Document
The Document will be converted to a .PDF and the signed Document can be viewed
The Document can now go through any subsequent Workflow statuses and then be approved
New Feature 2 - Letter creation from HR Request forms
Letters can now be created within Document Management using fields imported from HR request forms
To enable integration, both apps must exist within the same environment
Setup of the Request App
Open the Request app and navigate to Admin > General > Parameters > Features and enable Integration with Document Management
Create a new form by navigating to Admin > Form management > Forms and clicking +New, fill in the details and ensure Transfer to document is enabled
Once the form has been created, click ..., then Export and save the .JSON file
Add the form to a Request group in Admin > Request groups > Request types
Assign the Request type to the desired role in Admin > Authorization > Roles
Setup of the Document Management App
Open the Document Management app and navigate to Admin > General > File extensions and ensure DOTX is defined
Create a new Category group by navigating to Admin > Category groups and click +New
Create a new Category by navigating to Admin > Categories and clicking +New
Assign the *Category to the Category group in Admin > Category groups
Create a new Document template by navigating to Admin > Document templates and clicking +New then Create template
Enter the details and click Import and import the .JSON file downloaded from the Request app
Fields from the imported Form will now be available under Request form fields
The fields can be copied and pasted into a Word document
Save the document as a Word template
In the Template field click the Browse button and search for the created template
Finally, click the Add form button
Enter the Form name this must exactly match the name of the Form in the Request app
Usage Process
Open the Request app and complete a Request using the defined Form
Once the Request has been approved, ensure that the Document Management app is synced to reflect the new hire
Re-open the Request in the Request app and click Create document
The Document will then be available in the Document Management app
With fields and data showing as defined
24348: Move consent button and add copy key on new parameter screen
DocuSign consent button moved and functionality to allow public key to be copied added to Connection profile screen
DocuSign settings no longer showing when DocuSign feature is disabled
23829: Create schedulers for DocuSign process
Applicant document transfer added to Scheduler options
Navigate to Admin > General > Scheduler and click +New
Once the job has run, all approved documents for an Applicant that is now a Worker will be transferred to the Worker documents
24465: Document name when deleting documents
Document name is now part of the confirmation message when deleting a Document
24488: Missing bulk upload files (to identify)
New screen added to identify Failed documents, navigate to Admin > Failed documents
Documents that have failed will be listed here with an option to Update
24648: Implement workflow process for document upload of applicant

A new screen for handling Applicant documents has been added, navigate to Manager > Recruitment > Applicant documents for my approval
24685: As manager I should be able to create document for my workers
Managers can create documents for My workers without issue
24712: Enable F&O Native connectivity
The Document Management Web App can now be connected to D365 Finance and Operations
Open the management portal and select the desired environment
Select Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations from the Interface connection dropdown box and enter the desired F&O environment in the End-point URL field
Data can now be synced with an F&O environment
24725: Getting loader issue when trying to delete document
Documents can be deleted without issue
24753: Add functionality to preserve filter for specific screens of the app
Filters are now preserved through navigation
Open a screen
Enter a filter
Navigate out of and back into the screen and the filter is retained
24765: Letter template selection should be bigger
When creating a Document from a Document template the selection field for the Document template has been made bigger
24779: Handle letter creation for applicant from request app
Documents can now be created for Applicants
Navigate to Manager > Recruitment > Applicants and click Documents on the desired Applicant
Documents can be created and / or uploaded similarly to Workers
24826: More apps link is not redirecting to the correct path
The More apps link now directs to the correct page
24845: Synchronization of tables in scheduler incomplete
Sync scheduler now contains all entities
24856: Issues related to DocuSign in the app
Issues relating to DocuSign now resolved, see New Feature 1 description for process

Employees can now upload a Document in the My documents screen without receiving an error
24873: First name should not display with double quotes
When using the First name field in a Document template, the data no longer shows with double quotes

Documents created from the request app will now follow the defined Workflow process
Click Create document when using an Applicant in a Request
