Manual
The Performance Management app helps in managing an efficient Performance Management process for better planning, monitoring, and assessing employees' goals, development plans and contributions to the organization. It involves aligning an employee's skills, goals (objectives) competencies (behaviours), and development plans with the overall business strategy to plan work and set expectations. The aim of this manual is to guide a user through a process step by step.
This User Manual contains the setup in chapter 5 and the processes in chapter 6.
The WebApp is divided into three main user roles with their own access. This can be seen from the navigation menu. Access to these three parts are based on the authorization setup:

The different user roles and goal in the application are:
User Role | Brief Description |
---|---|
Performance employee | An Employee can view and add goals, reviews, development plans and competencies. |
Performance manager | A Manager can view and/or edit his/her teams' Goals, Performance Reviews, Development Plans, with status and rate/rank their team members. |
Performance admin | Admin users are responsible for the setup and maintenance of the web app. This includes: |
- Setting up the connection with the source; | |
- Maintaining the authorization; | |
- Maintaining PDR setup for employees and managers to hold the conversations. This includes maintaining the workflows and forms that are used for the meetings; | |
- Maintaining and creating forms and fields as part of form management processes; | |
- Updating and changing menus to make sure the application is as user friendly as possible; | |
- Responsible for the complete set up of Goals, Performance Reviews, Ratings, Development Plans, Activities and templates for Employees and Managers; |
