Release notes for Performance Management 3.18
Below is an overview of changes and new features introduced in this release of the FourVision Web App.
New features
Added a parameter 'Disable previous year PDR's rating' on the Parameters screen, allowing control over the visibility of the previous PDR ratings on the 'Sign off & comments' tab in the new PDR form for both the Manager and Employee apps
Added an option to control the visibility of 'PDR periods' during PDR creation
Implemented a checkbox to hide the 'Removed compensation lines' under the 'Fixed compensation' tab on the Worker details screen
Implemented a new parameter 'Use bonuses' under the Compensation parameter screen to include or exclude bonuses in the salary increase proposal lines. In addition, the salary-related parameters were moved under the 'Compensation' parameters screen
Added the 'Use role for compare answer overview' parameter in the questionnaire template featuring new menus 'Participant roles’ and the ‘Questionnaire’ and enables the calculation of the ‘Benchmark average’, ‘Benchmark spread’ and ‘Total average'
Implemented a new parameter 'Calculate objectives average score based on weight' on the Parameters screen to exclude the goals with zero weight in the 'Total rating'
Changes and bugfixes to existing features:
Generic security updates, minor bug fixes and patches
Added 'Employee name' placeholder to the PDR email template on the Parameters screen
Resolved the issue with Previous and Next buttons in the Objectives section of Employee app to align the functionality same as the Manager app
Improved the error message even if the total weight is 100% for the objectives in a PDR
Improvements done to enhance the consistency between 'Feedback/questionnaire detail' and 'Compare Answers' screens
Resolved the issue of the deletion of PDR objectives in a particular PDR
Detailed release information:
New feature 1: Added a parameter 'Disable previous year PDR's rating' on the Parameters screen, allowing control over the visibility of the previous PDR ratings on the 'Sign off & comments' tab in the new PDR form for both the Manager and Employee apps

New feature 2: Added an option to control the visibility of 'PDR periods' during PDR creation
Added ‘Active’ column on the PDR period screen and by default all the existing PDR periods set to ‘Active’
Added ‘Active’ toggle on the ‘Add new PDR period’ dialog box and by default the ‘Active’ toggle is enabled
Added ‘Active’ toggle on the ‘Edit PDR period’ screen and by default all the existing PDR periods set to ‘Active’
Under the ‘Active’ column, update the status of all the PDR periods to ‘Inactive’

Note: a) By default, all the existing PDR periods are set to Active and no effect on the existing ongoing PDR.

New feature 3: Implemented a checkbox to hide the 'Removed compensation lines' under the 'Fixed compensation' tab on the Worker details screen
On the 'Worker details screen, hover on the ‘Compensation’ tab and click on the ‘Fixed compensation’ option
Added the new checkbox ‘Show removed’ and no compensation plan with ‘Removed ‘status showing by default in the list. Click on the newly added ‘Show removed’ checkbox

Process 1: When all bonuses parameter are set to disabled. The ‘Variable compensation plan’ entity in manual sync, the ‘Variable compensation plan’ menu and bonus fields/columns will be hidden.
With user ‘Sara Thomas’ (Admin), under the 'Compensation' menu on 'Parameters' screen
a) Disabled ‘Use bonuses’ parameter and check all the children parameters hidden as well. Save the changes
b) Under the ‘Legal entities setup’ tab, the bonuses-related columns will be hidden
c) On the menu bar, under the ‘Compensation’ parent menu, the ‘Variable compensation plans’ menu will be hidden

On the 'Worker details screen, under the 'Compensation' tab', the ‘Variable compensation’ option is hidden
On the 'Manual sync' screen, the ‘Variable compensation awards’ and ‘Variable compensation plans’ entities are hidden
The salary increase proposals created for manager ‘Claire Kennedy’ and 'Total bonus increase %' column not showing. Click on the ‘Detail’ option

Click on the download icon to export the file and open the exported Excel. The bonuses-related columns not present in the sheet

Process 2: When limited bonus parameters are enabled, only the enabled parameter-related columns will be visible.

Export the ‘RC 03’ reward cycle. Export the previously exported file and open the downloaded file

###New feature 5: Added the 'Use role for compare answer overview' parameter in the questionnaire template featuring new menus 'Participant roles’ and the ‘Questionnaire’ and enables the calculation of the ‘Benchmark average’, ‘Benchmark spread’ and ‘Total average'
For the 'Add new questionnaire template’ dialog box added the ‘Use role for compare answer overview’ parameter and by default is set to disabled
Add new questionnaire template by enabling the new parameter
On the 'Edit questionnaire template' screen, the parameter set to enabled. Update the details and disable the parameter
On the 'Questions' screen, question as ‘Skills’ of type ‘Checkbox’ added, click on the ‘Back’ button
Enable the toggle and save the changes, the message appears
Delete the particular question and add a new question with the type 'Select', click on the ‘Edit’ option
Add options to the question
Enabled the ‘Use role for compare answer overview’ parameter and save the changes, validation message appears

For 'Questionnaire preselect', click on the '+ New' button under 'Questionnaire templates', ensuring only templates without access to newly added parameter, are displayed in the dropdown. Added the questionnaire template
For the selected questionnaire template, enable the parameter and save the changes, validation appears
Newly added ‘Participant role’ menu by default disabled for all roles except ‘System administrator’

Process 1: The worker for whom the session is about will by default get the 'Self assessment' role, and self assessment score will not be included in 'Benchmark average', 'Benchmark spread' and 'Total average'
On the 'Questionnaire session detail' screen
a) Under the ‘Worker this questionnaire is about’ tab, worker ‘Brooke BD Drynan’ showing

The ‘Assign worker(s)’ dialog box appears, under the ‘Participant role’ column, ‘Self assessment’ participant role is automatically assigned to ‘Brooke BD Drynan’ and the participant role non-changeable

With the user Claire Kennedy (Manager), under the ‘Worker to fill out questionnaire’ tab:
For worker ‘Brooke BD Drynan’, the status is ‘In progress’ and the participant role is‘Self assessment’. For worker ‘Claire Kennedy’, the status is ‘In progress’ and the participant role is ‘Auditor’ and For external user, the status is ‘Completed’ and the Participant role is not shown as the user does not have access to set participant roles for external users. Click on the ‘Detail’ option

The 'Benchmark (Spread)' displays as '0%' and is calculated based only on the answers provided by the workers. The questionnaire session status must be 'Completed'. (Excludes self-assessment scores and external user scores)
Benchmark average is blank as the questionnaire session status is 'In progress'. (Excludes external users and self-assessment participant roles)
Total (average) is blank as the questionnaire status is 'In progress'. (Excludes self-assessment participant roles)
Click on the ‘Department’ question, ‘Status’ and ‘Participant role’ columns added
Note: a) Feedback given by the ‘External person’ will not impact the result.
b) For workers 'Brooke Drynan' and 'Claire Kennedy', the status is 'In progress', and the scores given by workers do not impact the result
For worker 'Brooke Drynan', the status is 'Completed'. Click on the 'Detail' option
a) For the 'Department' question, the status is 'Completed' and the score is '10' for worker 'Brooke Drynan'. The average self-assessment score for the question 'Department' is also '10'
b) The average self-assessment for questions designated as '4' and rated as '5' is showing
c) Self-assessment score is not included in ‘Benchmark average’, ‘Benchmark (Spread)’ and ‘Total average’
d) In the graph, the average of self assessment is shown as ‘6.33’
Self assessment = (Sum of answers’ score) / (No. of questions) [Exclude non-scoring questions] (10 + 4 + 5) / 3 = 6.33
Under the 'Worker to fill out questionnaire' tab, the status is 'Completed' for all workers except 'Prakash Kovvuru'. Click on the 'Detail' option for a specific worker
a) Participant roles (Accountant, Auditor, and Collections agent) with the status ‘Completed’ are shown in the overview
b) Worker Ken Ewert the member of the 'Accountant' participant role, the score and average score as '0’ showing for the 'Department' question
c) Worker Claire Kennedy the member of the 'Auditor' participant role, the score as '1’ and the average score of the participant role as '1' showing
d) Workers Grace Sturman and Luke Lenhart the members of the 'Collections agent' participant role with status 'Completed'. have a sum of answers as '4' and an average score of the 'Collections agent' participant role as '2'
Average for individual question ‘Department’ = (Sum of score) / (No. of questions) = (2 + 2) / 2 = 2
e) The total average for the 'Department' question is calculated as follows Total average = (Sum of ‘Average score of Participant roles’) / No. of participant roles

Process 2: When the questionnaire is created for multiple workers, the benchmark average and benchmark spread will be calculated based on all questions of the questionnaire session.
A questionnaire session titled 'Session 2.0' has been created. Under the 'Worker this questionnaire is about' tab, 'Brooke BD Drynan' and 'Claire Kennedy' have been added. Click on the 'Brooke BD Drynan' worker. Under the 'Worker to fill out questionnaire' tab, multiple workers have been added with a status of 'Completed' showing. Click on the 'Detail' option
For the ‘Department’ question, the benchmark average ‘3.4’ is showing based on the entire questionnaire session. Scores showing as ‘1’ and ‘3’
Click on ‘Claire Kennedy’, under the 'Worker to fill out questionnaire' tab, multiple workers have been added with a status of 'Completed' showing. Click on the 'Detail' option
For the ‘Department’ question, the benchmark average remains the same at ‘3.4’. Check Scores as ‘1’, ‘2’ and ‘10’ showing
Benchmark average = (1 + 3 + 1 + 2 + 10) / 5 Benchmark average = 17/5 = 3.4

Note: a) The ‘Self assessment’ participant role is by default added and set as a ‘Default’ participant role and cannot be changed.
b) The ‘Self assessment’ participant role is only assigned to the worker the questionnaire is about and cannot be assigned to other workers.
c) The user cannot add scores more than 10 if the ‘Use role for compare answer overview’ toggle is enabled in the questionnaire template.
d) The ‘Checkbox’ field type will not be available if the ‘Use role for compare answer overview’ toggle is enabled in the questionnaire template.
e) The questionnaire template will not be available in ‘Preselect’ if the ‘Use role for compare answer overview’ toggle is enabled in the questionnaire template.
f) The ‘Self assessment’ score will not be included in ‘Benchmark average’, ‘Benchmark spread’, and ‘Total average’.
g) Score from the ‘In Progress’ status will not be included in ‘Participant role’, ‘Benchmark average’, ‘Benchmark spread’, and ‘Total average’.
New feature 6: Implemented a new parameter 'Calculate objectives average score based on weight' on the Parameters screen to exclude the goals with zero weight in the 'Total rating'
Under the ‘Parameters’ tab, the ‘Calculate objective average score based on weight’ parameter was added and by default set as disabled
Under the 'Objective details' tab, all details showing

Enable ‘Calculate objective average score based on weight’ parameter and save the changes
Under the ‘Objectives/Goals’ tab, select rating model and select ‘Enable weighting on the objective category’ from the ‘Others’ dropdown field
On the 'PDR detail' screen, under the ‘Objectives/Goals’ tab, all fields are visible
For the ‘Weather’ category rating as ‘4.8’ showing
