Release notes for Performance Management 3.19
Below is an overview of changed and new features introduced in this release of the FourVision Web Apps.
New features
- Added an option to export PDR as PDF by adding a toggle ‘Allow printing of PDR’ in the roles
- Added a filter based on 'Legal entity' to select the active employment while doing the Mass goal assignment under the 'Workers' tab and a column for 'Personnel number'
- Implemented bulk upload of the first and second ratings on the 'All PDR calibration' screen by adding a parameter 'Enable download and upload of rating' on the user's role
Changes and bugfixes to existing features:
Generic security updates, minor bug fixes and patches
Resolved the issue of the organizations not assigned on the role with sync in Performance management webapp, that were assigned in D365 HR due to the issue related to the CompanyId null in the UserRoleOrganizations.
Implemented GUID on the import/export of 'Assessment criteria', 'Proficiency level', 'Specific outcome', 'Unit standard' to enhance the CAP file import/export
Added a parameter 'Active' on questionnaire template in 'Admin' app, to make the Questionnaire template 'Active/Inactive'
Allowed to hide all the totals (Total weight calculation, Total rating, Average rating and Self assessment average) in Objectives by adding a parameter 'Disable totals on objectives’ on the 'Parameters' screen
Introduced a new tile for 'My key positions' to show the count of team key positions on analytics dashboard
Detailed release information:
New feature 1: Added an option to export PDR as PDF by adding a toggle ‘Allow printing of PDR’ in the roles
Under the ‘Role access’ tab, added toggle ‘Allow printing of PDR’ with hover text and kept disabled by default
Enabled the ‘Allow printing of PDR’ toggle for ‘Manager’ role. Clicked on the ‘Save’ button
Login as user ‘June Low’ as an 'Employee', the newly added ‘Print’ option visible, clicked on it
On the Print preview screen, the layout of the exported PDF file can be set up and the details of ‘General’ tab visible properly
Under the ‘Behaviours’ tab, the details visible properly
‘Column options’ can be selected as well to export the data of the columns
Under the ‘Objective/Goals’ and ‘Sign off & comments’ tab, the details showing. Clicked on the ‘Print’ button
‘Print’ dialog box appeared, the toggles implemented for the tabs/sections to be exported as per the selection. Only the selected toggle’s data will be exported. Clicked on the ‘Print’ button

The data visible properly as the layout or preview of the PDR in the Print preview screen
Login as user 'Charlie Carson' as Manager, on the ‘Print’ dialog box, the toggles for 'Worker information', 'General', 'Behaviours', 'Objectives/Goals', 'Sign off & comments', 'Notes from Manager' implemented for the tabs/sections to be exported as per the selection. Only the selected toggles’ data will be exported.
For the ‘Objectives/Goals’ tab, any of the options can be selected to expand the usage of goals in PDR
For specific PDR ‘Print’ option showing, clicked on it
On the preview screen, under the ‘Objectives/Goals’ tab, the records showing with expandable values like PDR detail screen. Clicked on the ‘Print’ button
‘Print’ dialog box appears, select the few toggles. Clicked on the ‘Print’ button
The PDF file downloaded, clicked on it
Open the downloaded PDF file, the selected sections appears properly
Login with user 'Sara Thomas' as 'Manager'. On the 'My team workers' screen under 'My organisational data', for the worker ‘Claire Kennedy’, ‘2’ PDR showing. Clicked on the counts
For PDR no. ‘458’, the ‘Print’ option visible. PDR can be exported from this screen as well as shown above.
Note: a) Printout functionality implemented for the 'Worker information', 'General', 'Behaviours', 'Objectives/Goals', 'Sign off & comments' and 'Notes from manager' tabs only
b) In the Employee app, ‘Print’ option will be visible on the ‘My PDR’ screen only
c) In the Manager app, ‘Print’ option will be visible on all the PDR related screens except 'PDR calibration' screens
d) On any of the PDR status, user can print the PDR as per the selection
e) As per the selection of the toggles on the ‘Parameters’ screen, PDR details can be printed
f) According to the actual data visibility of the PDR detail screen, details will be visible in the PDR preview screen and can be printed as per the selection
g) Few of the fields from ‘General’ section and some of the columns from ‘Objectives/Goals’ section make as hidden in the print preview. Like Weight, Weight calculation columns
h) Comments are not visible to export in the PDF file for all the tabs
New feature 2: Added a filter based on 'Legal entity' to select the active employment while doing the Mass goal assignment under the 'Workers' tab and a column for 'Personnel number'
Login with user 'Brooke Drynan' as 'Manager'. On the 'All objectives' screen, under the ‘+New’ option, clicked on the ‘Add mass objective’ option
On the 'Add mass objective' screen, under the ‘Workers’ tab, added ‘Legal entity’ filter showing with multi-select option and with the search feature
Search working properly
Using only the ‘Legal entity’ filter with the selection of one legal entity in the filter options.
Under the ‘Workers’ tab, select the ‘GLMF’ legal entity in the ‘Legal entity’ filter and clicked on the ‘Execute search’ button
The workers executed with the active employments of the ‘GLMF’ legal entity having position assignments. Also, the newly added ‘Personnel number’ column showing to differentiate between the workers having the same name.

Enabled the ‘Select all’ toggle and clicked on the ‘Add’ button
‘Saved successfully!’ message appeared and objectives created
Using the ‘Legal entity’ filter with the combination of other filter options.
Under the ‘Workers’ tab, selected the options from the ‘Department’, ‘Reports to’ and ‘Legal entity’ filters and clicked on the ‘Execute search’ button
The workers list appeared as per the combination of the filter options
Enabled the toggle for few workers and clicked on the ‘Add’ button
‘Saved successfully!’ message appeared, navigated to 'All objectives' screen and objectives created
Note: a) The ‘Legal entity’ filter can be used for mass creation of objectives in multiple ways as listed below:
With the selection of one legal entity in the filter options.
Objective creation for the workers with the same name and employment but having different Personnel numbers
Using the ‘Legal entity’ filter with the combination of multiple legal entities.
b) Same functionality implemented on ‘My team objectives’ and ‘My team objectives alt’ screens.
c) The ‘Legal entity’ filter is independent, there’s no dependency with the other filter options. i.e. If the legal entity is selected in the ‘Legal entity’ filter and then selecting the left-sided filter options and the ‘Legal entity’ filter doesn’t reset.
New feature 3: Implemented bulk upload of the first and second ratings on the 'All PDR calibration' screen by adding a parameter 'Enable download and upload of rating' on the user's role
Login with user 'Sara Thomas' as 'Admin'. On the 'Edit PDR template' screen, under the ‘PDR template’ tab, selected the ‘Behaviours’ rating model for the ‘Sign off & comments’ tab. Similarly For the ‘Standard 3.0’ PDR template, selected the ‘Objectives’ rating model and ‘End period rating’ rating model in ‘Standard PDR 2.0’ PDR template for the ‘Sign off & comments’ tab
Under the ‘Role access’ tab, added toggle ‘Enable download and upload rating’ with hover text and kept disabled by default.
On the role ‘Human resource manager’, enabled the toggle ‘Enable download and upload of rating’ and clicked on the ‘Save’ button, the ‘Saved successfully!’ message appeared
Login with user ‘Claire Kennedy’ as 'Manager', the ‘Import and export’ button visible
Hover on the ‘Import and export’ button, the ‘Import’ and ‘Export’ options showing, clicked on 'Export' option
The ‘Export’ dialog box appeared, ‘No records available’ in the ‘Previous exported file’ table. clicked on the ‘Export’ button
‘The process of PDR Export is started in the background, it can take a few minutes to process it all.’ message appeared
Refreshed the screen, the ‘1’ count showing on the notification message, clicked on it. Notification showing as ‘PDR records of 61 workers have been successfully exported. To download the file, please use the export option available.’
Clicked on the ‘Export’ option
The ‘Export’ dialog box appeared, the ‘Previously exported file’ showing with the ‘Delete’ and ‘Download’ icons. The ‘Name’ field set as editable
Update the name and clicked on the ‘Download’ icon
The file downloaded with the updated name, clicked on it
Opened the exported file, the ‘PDR ID’, ‘Worker’, ‘Personnel Number’, ‘Manager’, ‘PDR template’, ‘Period’, ‘First Rating’, ‘Second rating’, and ‘Comment’ columns visible properly
Add ratings for the highlighted PDR a) For PDR no ‘1’ ‘2’ ‘24’, and ‘25’, add first and second ratings with comment b) For PDR no ‘3’ and ‘26’, add the incorrect rating as ‘6’ in the second rating
Clicked on the ‘Import’ option
The ‘Import’ dialog box appeared, browsed the file, and clicked on the ‘Import’ button
Message as ‘The process of PDR Import is started in the background, it can take a few minutes to process it all.’ appeared
The notification appeared as ‘PDR records of 4 workers have been updated successfully and error in 51 records. To download the error logs, please use the import option available.'
The ratings assigned to the PDR no ‘1’, ‘2’, ‘24’, and ‘25’ appears properly along with the comment
Clicked on the ‘Import’ option
The ‘Import’ dialog box appeared, the ‘Error logs file’ showing with the ‘Download’ icon, clicked on it
The file downloaded, clicked on it
Open the downloaded ‘XLSX’ file a) For the PDR no ‘3’ and ‘26’ messages showing as ‘The selected second rating not found in the rating model.’ b) For the other PDRs, the message showing as ‘The first rating is required.’
Note: If the ‘First’ and ‘Second’ ratings not added in the assigned ‘Rating model’, then it will not import and will give an error message.
The PDR template selected as ‘Standard PDR 2.0’, clicked on the ‘Export’ option
The ‘Export’ dialog box appeared with ‘Previously exported file’, clicked on the ‘Delete’ icon

Note: a) Only a single file will be stored on the screen.
b) If the ‘First’ and ‘Second’ ratings are not added in the assigned ‘Rating model’, then it will be ignored.
c) If the ‘Second rating’ toggle is disabled on the ‘PDR template’ screen, then the second rating will not import for that particular PDR will be ignored and the message will show in the error file.
d) If the data is correct in the ‘PDR ID’, ‘First rating’ and ‘Second rating’ then it will import. The rest of the fields will be ignored.
e) Only the records selected will be exported.
