We define the Time and Expenses process by different steps in a specific order. Best practice processes can vary significantly between industries and departments but each process will contain a core set of steps that will need to be performed. For the purposes of documentation, we have taken the below process to illustrate the solution.

Line manager
Situation where the line manager will check, edit and approve timesheet, without interference by project manager or administration.
Line manager and Project manager
Situation where the Project manager will check the hours, and the line manager will do the end approval, without interference by administration.
Administration
Situation where administration will check the hours without interference by Project manager or Line manager.
Administration and Project manager
Situation where the Project manager will check the hours, and the administration will do the end approval, without interference by Line manager.
